MERRITT 29" AND 26" OPTION BIKELIFE TIRE w/SWERVEWALL TECHNOLOGY
We took our tried and true Option tire and dialed it for bike life. Still has a smooth center section for low rolling resistance but we thinned the tread a little to decrease rotational weight, making the bike easier to control. Also helping with control, the side tread blocks are connected to the center tread, increasing stability and preventing the tread from squirming under load. Lastly, since the demands of bike life are unique, we took the Slidewall concept and adapted it to the Swervewall, a soft compound for added grip and offers sidewall protection as well.
